WordPressが連日のように更新 セキュリティー対策を兼ねてバージョンアップ

常日頃から個人的なサイトをwordpressで構築して楽しんでいます。

最近ではOpenSSLのHeartBeatによるセキュリティーが問題となったり

DNSキャッシュポイズニング攻撃が話題になったりと、これらの攻撃で簡単に被害がでているだけに

ちょっとした事でセキュリティー問題に対して注意深くなってしまいました。


相変わらず大手会社のサイトがウイルスに感染しているニュースが飛び交っています。

明日は我が身と思って、まめなチェックをしていきたいと思います。

Wordpressのマイナーバージョンアップは、自動インストールの設定をしているのですが

メジャーバージョンの場合は、一応更新内容とインストール時のトラブルなどが無いのか？

だけ最低限確認してからアップデートをするようにしています。

Wordpress2の頃の痛い不具合がトラウマとして残っていますからね・・・


さて話は戻りますが

数日前からWordpress 3.8.3など立て続けにバージョンアップがリリースされていましたが

さらに本日Wordpress3.9へ

このハイペースな更新には何か問題があったのでしょうか？

英語版、日本語版が公開される度に、両方インストールされているのかな？


更新内容などあまり確認する時間もあまりなかったので、バックアップをとってから

そのまま更新を実行しました。

が、問題なく無事に利用できています。

大まかな変更内容としては、メディア系の機能追加が多い印象ですね。

後で、1つ1つ触ってみたいと思います。
